As a grand finale to the global Sales Force Meeting 2010 V-LINE EUROPE GmbH invited all staff members from its Sehnde headquarters to join the meeting members at a Christmas Party at the Castanea Resort Hotel in Adendorf near Lüneburg on Saturday Dec. 11th.
The conferees, who arrived Wednesday, had successfully finished their program when the “V-LINE bus” arrived at the hotel. Their reunion with the new arrivals was celebrated with a curling tournament at the Walter-Maack ice rink. The colorful mixed teams of home and field office colleagues and the crew of Mr. Maack showed full commitment and despite the afternoon iciness of the venue had a hot tempered competition.
Afterward the Castanea staff gave the guests a warm reception with hot drinks, snacks and Christmas cake and the guests deepened their anticipation of the up-coming evening party event.
At the beginning of the party Detlev Daues took advantage of the opportunity to say Thank You to all employees and their families for all their effort and support. “It is because of our concerted action that we are able to conclude a successful year 2010”, the Managing Director of the V-LINE GROUP said, “Your jobs are secure!"
Everybody was in a party mood and the V-LINE team had much fun on the dance floor –not the least– thanks to the professional entertainment of the DJ duo “die fantastischen zwei”.
Another highlight of the evening was the interactive show of the mentalist Leo Martin, who definitely knew how to fascinate and bewitch his audience. He enthralled the spectators as with the greatest of ease he tempted them to do things which they never would have done under normal circumstances.
The guests enjoyed music and dancing until the small hours of the morning and gratefully accepted the offer of a late breakfast menu before travelling home on Sunday noon.
